Let me tell you how strong you are

Your exams are coming soon. You dont feel like like you have been reading at all (eventhough you have). To worsen the whole thing, you are given a week to write seven courses and you are wondering 'Did I join in crucifying Jesus Christ?'

To add salt to injury, you are flying at the speed of light towards being broke, and money doesn't seem to be coming from anywhere.

Or you just graduated from school. You are also done with youth service. You are mama's first child and you have six younger ones. These sound good, till you tell of your lack of a job.

Your younger ones expect you to buy them phones when visiting them. Dad wants to see you progressing. Mum says she needs a grandchild. Everything seems so wrong and against you.

In the two instances above, we see two Individuals under fire. These fellows have problems (or seem to ) from all angles. In such conditions, only two options are given to the Individuals.

These options are not ambiguous at all.

  • Sit back and complain

  • or
  • Take the challenges head on.

Any living being can do the first with the most easy form of ease. If the individual decides to take this path, he/she fails. When the failure comes, the individual will still complain, this time, about the setbacks that led to his/her failure.

How to cope with pressure?

  1. First, you have to be optimistic. See possibilities everywhere. This will serve as fuel to drive you to your canaan land. Exams on empty stomache is not fun at all, but it becomes fun to think about, years after you overcome in such situations.

  2. Ok, I am optimistic, what next? Get up and do something. Dont just do anything, put down a plan and stick to it. Dream big, and remember to 'work' big too.

  3. Be happy with your challenges. This reduces your burden. Be happy you are been tested, to show your worth. 'Agric fowls' are weak and are liabilities to the farmer. Local chicken are a lesser liability to their owner. Why? The reason is simple:

  4. The local chicken sweats for everything it gets, while the 'agric chicken' doesn't. Agric or local fowls, which are tastier? The local one, I tell you. Ask whoever has eaten both.

Face your problems head on today, and discover just how strong your are.
